Tannia was born in 1992 in Mexico City She is an architect who graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where she also completed a diploma in Urban Development and Housing. She has participated in the Student Competition organized by the Mexican Chamber of Steel. She gained professional experience at RD Arquitectos, collaborating with Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos on the development of executive projects for Hotel Sunscape (architecture and interiors), Amelia Tulum, and Mitikah (medical tower).
From 2017 to 2023, she worked directly with Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos on projects ranging from conceptual design to construction, across sectors such as high-end residential and recreational developments. Notable projects include Homero, Red Sea (an international competition entry), Hotel San Miguel, Ron Matusalem, Casa AV, Campus Atlas, and Casa R2388.
Since joining AMA in 2023, she has led the team responsible for translating ideas into buildable proposals, guiding each project toward optimal solutions based on spatial conditions and functional requirements, while maintaining clarity in design and its aesthetic intent. She works closely with the construction team to ensure proper execution, while also coordinating communication between suppliers, consultants, internal teams, and clients, keeping all parties aligned to achieve coherent results.
Tannia enjoys watching films, visiting museums, and engaging with new stories and conversations as sources of inspiration, alongside visual references. Among the spaces she relates to most are El Retiro Park and Toledo, Spain. Wood stands out as her preferred material, and she defines her approach to design through the idea of the essential. Kengo Kuma is a key reference in her architectural perspective.
DREAMS ARE BUILT.
WE DO NOT DESIGN SPACES. WE BUILD NARRATIVES.
EVERY PROJECT IS BORN FROM A VISION, STRUCTURED WITH INTENTION, SUPPORTED BY SOLIDITY, AND PROJECTED WITH AUTHORSHIP.
DREAMS ARE BUILT.
