Alberto was born in 1988 in Mexico City. He is a civil engineer who graduated from the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (IPN), with a specialization in geotechnics. His academic background is complemented by a Specialized Diploma in the Design and Installation of Automatic Fire Sprinkler Systems from the Latin American Institute for Fire and Safety Training.
He began his professional career in 2017, building experience in plumbing, sanitary systems, and fire protection systems (PCI). He has contributed to projects of various scales and typologies, including mixed-use buildings, hotels, schools, retail spaces, residential complexes, and cultural facilities. Notable projects include C5 Pachuca, CEMEX CET Monterrey, Tec Guadalajara, Tec Querétaro, OHRUS, Aldea Zama, PILARES, C6, Las Águilas, the Huatulco Airport expansion, and the engineering coordination of three development lots in Costa Palmas, Los Cabos.
At AMA, he is responsible for coordinating and developing project engineering systems, ensuring that designs meet the criteria for efficiency and functionality, while coherently integrating the different systems involved.
Alberto identifies water as his primary element, recognizing the importance and impact of hydraulic systems within architectural projects, which is reflected in an optimization-driven approach to design. He finds references in works such as the Monumento a la Patria in Mérida and in the work of Teodoro González de León. He enjoys attending events and festivals, as well as exploring landscape and portrait photography, an interest he has developed through various workshops, alongside drawing and tattooing. He finds inspiration in exploring new places and countries, observing different ways of living and problem-solving across diverse cultural contexts.
DREAMS ARE BUILT.
WE DO NOT DESIGN SPACES. WE BUILD NARRATIVES.
EVERY PROJECT IS BORN FROM A VISION, STRUCTURED WITH INTENTION, SUPPORTED BY SOLIDITY, AND PROJECTED WITH AUTHORSHIP.
