Alejandro was born in 1998 in Mexico City. He studied architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where he took part in the AVA thesis seminar taught by Israel Álvarez Matamoros, Ada Avendaño, and Hugo Vargas. He complemented his education with a diploma in Parametric Design led by Marcela Delgado (OMA) and the workshop “Cómo presentar un proyecto arquitectónico” led by Alejandro Hernández Gálvez (Arquine).

He was a finalist in the Juguete Urbano competition organized by Laboratorio para la Ciudad and the Government of Mexico City, and his thesis is currently part of the Abraham Zabludovsky and Alinka Kuper competition. His background is further enriched by his experience at the Dirección General de Innovación, Planeación, Ordenamiento Territorial y Desarrollo Urbano, as well as at Fernando Romero Enterprise.

At AMA, he is part of the Narrative Design team, where he is responsible for constructing the imaginaries that give rise to each project. Through conceptual abstraction, he translates ideas into a clear language that allows both the client and the team to understand and visualize how these imaginaries will transform into a concrete reality.

For Alejandro, “noise as silence” is a key idea in his approach to design, which he translates into materials, atmospheres, sensations, and functions that shape spatial experience. Spaces such as the Espacio Escultórico and Tomba Brion, along with architects like Mario Pani, stand as important references in his work. It is within these spaces of silence and contemplation that he finds inspiration, alongside analog practices related to music, photography, cinema, the city, culture, memory, and identity. The word “precise” best defines his approach to design.
