Bernardo is an architect who graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He has more than 30 years of experience in architectural practice, contributing to large-scale, high-impact developments across Mexico. Notable projects include Torre Reforma Colón (Mexico City), Torre Landmark Reserve (Zapopan, Jalisco), Oficinas Punto Central (Monterrey, Nuevo León), Soho House Mexico (Mexico City and Los Cabos), and the Rubén Darío Residential Tower (Mexico City).
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos, contributing to the development of major mixed-use, office, hospitality, and residential projects. He also worked at firms such as Diarq and Novaera, where he served as a designer and construction site supervisor.
At AMA, Bernardo is part of the Urban-Scale Architecture team, where he develops large-scale projects with a strong focus on construction detailing, anticipating and preventing issues during execution. His experience allows him to guide projects toward greater technical and construction efficiency.
Bernardo finds inspiration in observing architectural and construction details across different spaces around the world, understanding how they are resolved to expand his knowledge. Among his references are the Centro Pompidou and architects such as Luis Barragán and Peter Zumthor. He identifies scale and concrete as fundamental elements in architecture, which connect with his interests in film and music.
