David is an architect from Mexico City who graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where he earned his degree with high academic distinction. He has experience in academic research and participation in professional competitions. He took part in the “Tercer Congreso Internacional de Estudios sobre la Ciudad” at the Institute of Economic Research at UNAM, presenting ¿Puede el control del uso de suelo afectar los precios de la vivienda? Among his achievements, he was awarded second place in the “Caminos de la Libertad para Jóvenes” competition in the visual arts category with the work La ciudad centralmente planificada, reflecting his commitment to a creative, urban-focused architectural practice.
He currently works as a Junior Narrative Designer at AMA, where he contributes to the conceptual development of projects and the graphic representation of ideas. His process ranges from initial sketches to more developed proposals through AutoCAD drawings and 3D models, ultimately producing presentations for review with clients and the Narrative Design team.
Interested in high-density, mixed-use typologies and the study of cities, he identifies as key references the regeneration of central Doha, Qatar by HOK, as well as architects such as Norman Foster. David approaches design through imagination, drawing on references from books, websites, and places he explores. In line with this perspective, he enjoys hand drawing, watercolor painting, and listening to music, while also engaging with topics such as economics, sociology, history, and political philosophy.
DREAMS ARE BUILT.
WE DO NOT DESIGN SPACES. WE BUILD NARRATIVES.
EVERY PROJECT IS BORN FROM A VISION, STRUCTURED WITH INTENTION, SUPPORTED BY SOLIDITY, AND PROJECTED WITH AUTHORSHIP.
