Lizbeth is an architecture student at the University of Guadalajara, originally from Whittier, California. As part of her academic studies, she completed an exchange program at the University of Zagreb in Croatia. She has been recognized as co-author and finalist in the ARPAFIL competition and as co-author of the first-place proposal in “Taller Disruptivo,” led by architects Frisly Colop and Diego Peraza Alberti. She is also a finalist in the ASINEA poster competition with final results pending.
Her experience has been enriched through volunteer work in the construction of social housing with the Fratelli Tutti Foundation. She has been a speaker at the conference “Arquitectura, saberes y participación: Experiencias de aprendizaje con una comunidad Wixarika,” and contributed to the book “Guía técnica de representación” published by the University of Guadalajara (UDG). She has also collaborated on projects such as Hipódromo, Morelos 1007, and Libertad 1011, participating in site surveys, permitting and approvals, and design development from conceptual to executive stages, as well as working with firms such as DESEMA.
She currently works as a Junior Architect at AMA, where she supports the development of drawings, 3D models, and construction documentation. Her role focuses on organizing and structuring information to ensure clarity and consistency across teams, enabling effective communication between clients and different disciplines involved in each project.
Lizbeth approaches design through a symbolic lens, drawing inspiration from architects such as Antoni Gaudí and projects such as the Nido de Quetzalcóatl. She is particularly interested in traveling to experience architecture firsthand, paying close attention to the use of color as a key element in spatial expression. Her interests also include photography and ceramics, which further inform her creative perspective.
DREAMS ARE BUILT.
WE DO NOT DESIGN SPACES. WE BUILD NARRATIVES.
EVERY PROJECT IS BORN FROM A VISION, STRUCTURED WITH INTENTION, SUPPORTED BY SOLIDITY, AND PROJECTED WITH AUTHORSHIP.
