Omar is a construction professional from Mexico City with a background at the Faculty of Architecture at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). To complement his experience, he has completed a Construction Project Management course and a certification in Innovation in Construction from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
With over nine years of experience, Omar has built his career through hands-on involvement in residential construction, particularly in AAA-level developments. His work is defined by strong attention to detail, a thoughtful use of materials, and a consistent commitment to high-quality outcomes. Through his independent practice, he has developed a solid foundation in construction management, combining technical expertise with practical, on-site problem-solving.
He has contributed to the execution of significant projects in collaboration with recognized architects and firms, including Casa Rancho San Francisco with Quintanilla Arquitectos, Casa AV by Andrés Muñoz de Sordo, and Casa Halpern by Marmol Radziner in collaboration with Mariana Rivera. He has also participated in the Campus Elíseos 238 project, working alongside leading construction professionals in Mexico and contributing to the successful delivery of high-end developments.
He currently serves as a Construction Administration Manager at AMA, where he oversees construction processes and ensures the effective execution of projects. Omar is committed to strengthening and expanding the construction area within the studio, ensuring efficient processes, consistent follow-up, and tangible results across all projects. He approaches his work with a focus on quality, growth, and collaboration, continuously developing both professionally and personally while contributing to the success of the team.
Omar is drawn to the organization of cities, finding interest in spaces such as Torre Mayor, the International Museum of the Baroque in Puebla, the National Museum of Anthropology, Estadio Azteca, the Basilica of Guadalupe, Foro Boca, and Casa AV. He is also inspired by minimalist design, architects such as Pedro Ramírez Vázquez, and the movement of the sea—its lightness and strength. This perspective connects with his interests in photography, football, the beach, construction, and planning.
