Casa Chacala has been named finalist in the Architizer A+Awards 2025 under the Architectural Concept-Vision For Housing category. This awards program is dedicated to promoting both built work and the possible futures of architecture.

The project stood out as a proposal to rethink how design emerges from the landscape and not from resistance to it; a house conceived from its environmental conditions in search of an seamless integration.
