What would you do if your dream was within reach?
Would you let fear stop you?
This is not just the story of AMA. It’s the story of Andrés.
Before AMA had a name or structure, there was already a way of moving through the world that would define it. Andrés learned architecture beyond the classroom, walking cities, spending summers elsewhere, working, observing, and absorbing. He understood where he wanted to be, even before he knew how to get there.
The moment came in an unexpected way. At the end of a bullfight, he saw an opportunity with an architect he admired, and he chose to step forward. He approached him, asked for a number, followed up with a printed portfolio, and showed up. It was a simple act, but it required something most people hesitate on.
The instinct to move forward, even in the face of fear, has stayed with Andrés ever since.
He stepped into a demanding world that offered growth, structure, and a clear path forward. From the outside, it made sense to stay. But alongside that certainty, something else remained. A pull toward something more personal, not yet fully defined, but impossible to ignore.
At one point, almost without overthinking it, he wrote three letters on a portfolio: AMA. It was not a company yet. It was a way of acknowledging something that was already there. For a while, both realities coexisted. The one that was already built and made sense, and the one that required stepping into uncertainty.
At some point, you either step forward or you don’t.
Ten years after beginning his work with the architecture firm, Andres left to pursue his own. AMA did not start with a grand gesture or a perfectly defined plan. It began the way his story had always unfolded, through initiative and openness. Through conversations, reaching out, and showing up again and again.
What started as an individual pursuit began to resonate with others. People joined, each bringing their own ambitions and dreams, recognizing something familiar in the way it was being built. Over time, AMA became a collective effort shaped by shared intent rather than fixed answers. The scale grew, the context expanded, but the origin remained visible.
A belief that having a dream is not enough. What matters is having the courage to build it.

For a space to be built, it must first be imagined and every act of imagination begins with a question. At AMA, the “what if” is our starting point. It opens possibility and allows ideas to emerge before they are constrained by form or limitations. But imagination alone is not enough. It requires courage, to step forward and build what does not yet exist.
Every project begins as a conversation. Clients bring a space and a vision of what it could become, and through dialogue and collaboration, we act as vehicles that transform that initial question into a clear and purposeful direction. We believe that meaningful architecture emerges from collective thinking, where ideas evolve beyond individual perspectives and gain strength through a shared voice.
Our practice is built on constant exchange across disciplines, allowing ideas to be tested, refined, and carried through a rigorous process. AMA integrates narrative design, architecture, interior design, graphic design, BIM, engineering, and construction into a cohesive workflow. This multidisciplinary approach ensures that each project develops with clarity, precision, and continuity from concept to execution.
For us, a project is not complete until imagination is fully realized. We see architecture as a process that translates ideas into tangible experiences, creating new ways of inhabiting space. Each project becomes a singular outcome, shaped by those who imagine it and those who bring it to life, contributing to an evolving body of work defined by intention, collaboration, and clarity.
At AMA, every question finds its form.
DREAMS ARE BUILT.
WE DO NOT DESIGN SPACES. WE BUILD NARRATIVES.
EVERY PROJECT IS BORN FROM A VISION, STRUCTURED WITH INTENTION, SUPPORTED BY SOLIDITY, AND PROJECTED WITH AUTHORSHIP.
DREAMS ARE BUILT.
